How to make fish & chips



Material:
2 fish fillets (cod,haddock,or other white fish)
1.5ltr/2.75pt vegetable oil
140g/50z flour
50g/1.75oz corn starch
1tsp baking powder
1 egg
250ml beer
1tsp salt
salt & pepper
some chips

Utensil:
saucepan
2 bowls
whisk
slotted spoon
large fork
tray
some kitchen towel

Practice:
1.Preheat the oil, add all oil into saucepan.
2.Turn to medium heat,let heat until hot enough for frying.
3.Make the batter,add flour,corn starch,salt and baking powder,mix together.
4.Mix the egg and beer,pour beer into bowl,add egg,mix well.
5.Complete the batter,transfer beer mixtrue into bowl with flour mixtrue mix together.
6.Prepare the fish pat dry.
7.Batter and fry,check temperature of oil,dip fish into batter &
coat completely,put fish into hot oil,only fry one fish at a time.
8.Turn the fish,let fish fry for 4~7min,flip at least once to ensure it cooks evenly,remove when light golder brown,put the fish in kitchen paper,repeat with other fish.
9.Fry chips.
10.Put fish & chips in the dish and put some salt & pepper.
